As a little child being abused by relatives had a horrible effects on Oprah Winfrey life but it never stop her from being successful and the riches female in the world. being from a dysfunctional family she wanted that best for herself and her future being ahead of two of her classes and getting a scholarship to Nicolette high school in her home town. At the age of 14 Winfrey ran away from home and became pregnant but lost the baby at birth and was forced to live with her father in Nashville Tennessee. there her father made her education a big priority she also became an honor student and was voted most popular. Winfrey won many contest and including a scholarship to Tennessee state a historically black institution and a miss black Tennessee beauty pageant. In 1976 Winfrey was both the youngest news anchor and the first female news anchor at Nashville's WLAC-TV later to moved to Baltimore 's WJZ-TV and co-anchor the six o clock news.
Even though Winfrey's childhood was rough from getting Sexuality abused by love ones in her family from losing her first and only son at the age of 14. she have over come ever down fall that has been thrown at her.Winfrey never let the negative over take the positive and I think thats why she is where she is today. She has inspired me to become something more than just that black girl that got out of high school on time.
