Eleanor Fagan also known as Billie Holiday was know for her jazz singing and her beautiful songwriting. Nickname Lady Day Holiday was influence her loyal friend and musical partner. Holiday also enjoy singing jazz and pop. Holiday was admired by many that listen to instruments and jazz she had an way of getting the crowds attention. she wrote a few songs lady sings the blues, god bless the child, don't explain, and easy living just to name a few. born in Harlem new york I can see why Holiday was so into jazz and pop. but that soon cam to rest in the early 1940's where Holiday admitted to using hard drugs. In 1941 holiday married Jimmy Monroe but was cheating with her drug dealer Joe Guy. later to get a divorced from Jimmy Monroe in 1947 but also called it quits with her supplier Joe Guy. Holiday was forced to stop working because of her conviction which also provoked her from working in clubs. Because of her abuse with drugs and liquor and men lead holiday to hard relationships. In 1952 Holiday married Louis McKay was the rest of the men in Holiday life McKay was also abusive but he did try to get her off of drugs. In the late 1950 Holiday died of cirrhosis of the liver. Even though McKay and Holiday was not together at the time of her death McKay had plans to start a chain of Billie Holiday vocal studios, La Arthur Murray dance schools.
The abuse of drugs seems to be very important in the famous world people seem to be either losing their god gifts or dying off of it and nothing in this world to me is more important than living for your love ones but mostly importantly yourself.
